Christmas Eve with Pop Pop & Grammie

We went over to Dad and Kathies for Christmas Eve, as we always do! B has been sick for the passed week with a "cold." Almost 100% sure it was not a cold. RSV more like it. She was in bed for 5 days with a high fever, cough, and a nasty nose like you have never seen. POOR BABY
So, this was her first day to be out and going all day. She did well! She enjoyed opening her gifts once she realized there was fun stuff inside the boxes!! She also helped Grammy make sugar cookies!! We had a great Christmas and look forward to spending time with Tony's family today!

Santa visited the daycare!! Brooke just stared at him and wasn't too sure what to think. She sat in his lap for about 30 seconds and then started to cry! Here are a few pictures!!

Trick or Treat

Brooke and I went to Sara's house, the lady I work with, and went trick or treating with them! I was a little worried because at first she was interested in all the kids and didn't care about the candy, but she caught on real quick!! The first piece of candy in her bucket was out in a matter of seconds and in her mouth with chocolate everywhere! She started going up to the houses holding her bucket out and then saying BYE!! It was cute :) We had a great time trick or treating, only wish Daddy could have been there. I was worn out!!

Brooke's First Pumpkin Patch!

Tonight we took B to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. She was in a great mood until we got there. Then all she wanted to do was chase kids around and stare at them. I got a few smiles and the rest tears. She was getting hungry and tired! (seems to always be the case) :) It was fun none the less!! Here are a few moments from the Pumpkin Patch!!!

Brooke's First Year

I decided to put this little collage together of Brooke's First Year! It is interesting to see how she has changed over the months, or hasn't changed!! She still looks like Tony!! I guess we should have named her TJ (Tony Junior)!

Bumble Bee

So, I took some pictures of Brooke in her Halloween costume because I wasn't sure how many I would get on Halloween night and if they would actually turn out! Once again, she was not in a happy mood at all. She was tired and she is sick with a runny nose and cough. POOR BABY! Here are a few! ENJOY our Lil' Bumble Bee :)

We started Brooke on milk Saturday!! She is not liking it at all. Just take a look at the pictures!!
I also tried to add some chocolate to it and she was NOT fooled!

We had B's 1st birthday party at my cousin Nicole's house! It was very hectic and fast paced, but I loved every minute of it! Tony did a fabulous job on the grill!! Brooke was her usual self, running around being wild!!! Here are some pictures of her day!

B's Trip to the ZOO

We decided to take B to the Zoo. Tony & I really wanted to see the new MOLA exhibit, which by the way, was awesome! Wish we could have got to look at it more closely! We went Thursday August 12th and it was about 103 degrees. Very HOT! We had plenty of places to cool off and B did a pretty good job :) She liked to scream at the top of her lungs on the inside and when we were outside, she would stop! We bought her a pair of 'Wee Squeak' sandals, which really helped us keep track of her. For those of you who don't know what they are, they are sandals that squeak when she walks!! We had lots of people looking at us, but thats ok!!! We only missed seeing a few animals. Most of them were lounging inside because of the heat. Here are a few pictures of our trip to the Fort Worth Zoo!!
