A little bit of this & a little bit of that
TUMMY TIME
As most of you know, it is hard to get Brooke to lay on her tummy because of her reflux and also because she sleeps on her tummy! She usually just lays there. I put the boppy under her to help her not be so lazy!! Good thing the boppy has food on it, otherwise I don't think she'd be as interested! :)
BUMBO TIME
So, Brooke is finally holding her head up and we are putting her in her Bumbo. She loves it!
NEW BATH TUB
Brooke outgrew her other bath. She would push off the bottom with her legs and I was afraid she was going to flip back. I got her this whale tub and she LOVES it!!! She kicks and splashes and even POOPS in it. That's right, poops. I gave her a bath last night and she made me a surprise. Try grabbing a slippery baby with poop running down her but and cleaning out the tub and filling it back up with water. Not easy to do by yourself!
LOVES HER TWIN
Every time we go passed a mirror Brooke looks at herself! She loves it. Now she is trying to touch herself through the mirror!
GIRL TALK
Brooke and I love to lay on the floor and have girl talk. Jack gets jealous and feels left out, so we let him join this time :)

Brooke's First Christmas
CHRISTMAS EVE 12/24/09
We always go to my Dad & Kathie's for Christmas Eve. We had fajitas and opened gifts! Brooke was starting to feel bad and had a little cough. She slept the whole time in my Dad's arms!
We opened gifts and hung out for awhile! Then we had to drive home in the crazy weather. People are idiots!! Tony did great driving & B did horrible in her car seat! She hates that thing. It took us 2 hours to get home. Christmas is just not the same without Michael. He definitely livens it up :) Hopefully next year he will be here to spend it with us!
CHRISTMAS DAY 12/25/09
We opened gift at our house! Brooke got a crib, dresser and changing table from Santa!! We got her a few movies and toys!

Christmas day we went to Tony's dads house. Brooke got to meet several family members for the first time!! We left Boyd and went home to pack for the annual get together at Brandi and Jacob's cabin in Oklahoma!! Brandi and I took care of the kids while the boys went hunting! Colton had a great time playing with Brooke. He liked to put her paci in her mouth when she was talking to get her quiet, until he realized the paci fit on his finger, then he wanted to keep it for himself!! Notice B yelling at him!!
Tony brought me home on Sunday & then went back to the cabin. I wanted to take B to the doctor on Monday, but they were closed. Tony & I took her Tuesday and of course she had bronchiolitis. They felt so bad for us. First having to deal with reflux and now this. We got a humidifier and saline drops and just suctioned her nose constantly. She was clearing everything out on her own, so we did not have to do breathing treatment. Good job Brooke!! She weighs 14lbs 14oz!! Here is a picture of her sick, although she doesn't look sick at all!
