Texas

We went back to Texas and had a relaxing vacation. We didn't get a chance to visit everyone, hopefully the next go around! I definitely did not want to come back! Here are a few pictures from our trip. Oh, and we came back with a new member of the family- a German Shepherd named Duke! I'm not sure what I got myself into. A toddler, a puppy and a baby on the way! All I know is Brooke is loving every minute of it, except when he bites and scratches her :D

OOPS, we did it again!

On March 6th I was a few days late and decided maybe I should take a test, so I did and as soon as I peed on the stick a + sign was dark and clear! No mistaking it, I was pregnant!

I called Tony at work to give him the news and he was SO THRILLED (sarcastic tone)! Of course we know how this happens, but we were still shocked and not exactly sure how to feel. Moving to Arizona has been a huge adjustment and we were hoping I would have a job by now. Brooke is in her terrible 2 stage, which has been challenging, especially not having any help or resources to get a little break!! Thank goodness Pam has watched her a few times to help me regain my sanity! But my mentality is that we have a baby coming and we will make it work! It's a blessing and will be great for Brooke to have a sibling.I am excited and maybe Tony will be as well, once the baby gets here!! However, this WILL be the last one. I am very sick again with this one, it is like deja vu!! I went to the Er on April 2nd for dehydration. I hadn't keep any food or liquid down in over 48 hours. I got some fluids and Zofran for my nausea which has definitely helped. My stomach still hurts and I don't feel well, but at least I can keep food and liquids down. Nothing taste good or sounds appealing except for cantaloupe. I eat about 4 a week! I'm not drinking enough water, but I'm trying. It is definitely different being so sick and still having to care for a toddler. I feel like a lousy Mom. I am just laying around and Brooke has watched more TV the past 2 months than she has in 2 years. Hopefully I start feeling better within the next month. Tony helps out on the weekends, but that is the only time we see him. His work schedule has him sleeping all morning and working all night. We had our first Dr appt on April 6th. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TONY!! I weighed 117lbs, lost 10lbs from the sickness. This feels all to familiar. I'm using the doctor that delivered Pam's baby. She really liked her, so I thought why not! Her name is Dr. Jaacks and she is awesome! My EDD is November 15th! However, I will be having a c-section again, so she will deliver the baby at 39 weeks. She said the baby looked great and I saw the little heartbeat- so cute!! Here is the little bean at 8 weeks!

Ever since I got pregnant, Brooke has been having sympathy pains! Her tummy hurts and she is going to throw up all the time! The baby in her belly is making her sick too! LOL So funny! I have been asking her if she wants a brother or sister. At first it started with a puppy! Now it changes daily from a brother to a sister, but one thing has stuck. The baby's name will be TARZAN!! That is the name she has picked out for brother or sister! I went to the dr for my monthly check up and this time had to take Brooke with me. That was AWESOME!! She is in the stage of not listening and yelling and hitting me when I pick her up, so that was fun getting all the looks from other parents!! I lost 1 pound, down to 116lbs now. I saw the PA today and we had a look at the baby and listened to the heartbeat for the first time. I didn't get to really enjoy it because Brooke was trying to escape out the door and pull the picture out of the machine! She kept telling the PA not to touch me and not to hurt her mom!! I was hoping the heartbeat would give me an indication of boy or girl, but it was at 145bpm. Right in the middle. Usually the girl heartbeat is higher than the boy. I guess we will have to wait longer. Chinese calendar says boy this time. It said girl with Brooke, so we will see if it is correct again! Little one at 12 weeks
